Use of Photovoltaic Power Plant with Batteries for Warehouse and Office Spaces
Kořenek, Jan ; Vojtek, Martin (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the photovoltaic power plant in Zlín. Power plant is used for electricity supply of office building and stock. For better self-sufficiency there is designed battery system as storage for electrical energy which the object can not consume itself. In the theoretical part there are described development of photovoltaics and components used in power plants. Further there was described the building, construction of photovoltaic power plant and eventually also a subsidy program by which the project was financially supported. Main task in the practical part was to develop scripts in Matlab for evaluation of online measured data. Next point was an energetic evaluation of power plant operation. In the end there was calculated power plant return with subsidy support and without support. These calculations were done in PV SOL software. Eventually, there was evaluated how the system works and how the power generated by the photovoltaic power plant is used. In conclusion, there is summary of the measurements and calculations.
Energy Management of Administrative and Industrial Buildings
Coufal, Jaroslav ; Jaroš, Michal (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays, energy management is very important in terms of trying to save the environmental impact of human activities. If we want to have beautiful nature around us, it is important to think conscientiously in our consumption. In my bachelor thesis I describe the requirements of energy management. The goal of my work is to define what belongs to energy management and what solutions already exist on the market.
Evalution of Economic Efficiency of EPC Projects
Vlčová, Zuzana ; Šourek, Bořivoj (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
The issue of energy saving building is a current topic of today. The increasing costs of operating buildings reduce economic efficiency of the organization operations. A large part of the operating cost is energy cost. An effective tool for improving the energy performance of buildings is an EPC method. The implementation of energy projects through EPC is offered by Energy Services Company. This thesis evaluates the economic efficiency of the project implemented by the EPC and analyses its risk factors. The subject of EPC project is modernisation of an energy sector of a hospital building. The economic efficiency of the project is interpreted on the basis of economic indicators Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Profitability Index. There was also performed Monte Carlo simulation supported by Oracle Crystal Ball software within the analysis of risk factors for the project.
Energy and water management in a residential building
Auer, Zbyněk ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the management of energy and water in a residential building. For the energy balance of the residential building were used computational tools NKN II and outputs simulation on software BSim2000. On the basis of the calculations were prepared Et-curve for the residential building, which was subsequently supplemented by real measurement.
Sensitivity analysis of the energy rating of buildings
Auer, Zbyněk ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Šikula, Ondřej (advisor)
The master´s thesis was focused on parametric computer simulations of the energy performance of buildings. The aim is to determine the sensitivity of the individual operating and climatic influences on the final energy demand of the building, which will be reflected in final form Et-curve. Parametric simulation for building energy efficiency is planned to use the BSim and ready climatic database for a specific location in place of the assessed building. The outcome of the evaluation of the real use of property in Et-curve using a custom application.
Energy and environmental assessment of buildings
Kubínek, Tomáš ; Baroň, Alexandr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to give a general idea of energy; what it is, how it is created (rather transformed), how it is distributed and used in many of its forms. In detail it describes how buildings are evaluated in terms of energy consumption, how can we lower this consumption and how it affects the environment. Part A, theory, gives a general idea of the theory surounding transformations, losses and uses of energy. It describes processes of assessment of buildings. Part B, calculation methods, give an idea how current CZ/EU regulations describe optimal calculation methods. These methods include: energetic, enviromental and economic evaluation of buildings or energy-saving measures. Part C, project, describes an exact measuring in Elementary School Svážná-Brno. It describes the means of obtaining information. Includes graphically processed monthly energy consumptions. It also includes list of used sensors (measuring air temperature, humidity and surface temperatures), schemes of sensors placements, schemes of building and technical systems. The main part of this project are graphs of measured data made in EXCEL with descriptions.
Minimalizace provozních nákladů pneumatických výrobních systémů
Horňák, Jan
The subject of the master thesis is the determination of process and implementation measures within energy management with a focus on compressed air consumption and leakage in pneumatic production systems. In cooperation with the company SMC Industrial Automation CZ s.r.o., the methodology of compressed air leakage detection using an ultrasound-based device was applied in an unnamed manufacturing company focusing on pneumatic production systems, which consist of twelve separate production lines. Measuring of the technical status of each production line, evaluation of the data, determination of measures and recommendations leading to minimization of operating costs. Comparison of leakage measurement methods and cost reduction opportunities for compressed air consumption.
Energy management of residential building with a photovoltaic system
Prášil, Kryštof ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the electricity consumption of a family house with a photovoltaic power plant and electric heating. A control system was designed for this object, ensuring the optimization of consumption. The work summarizes the currently available options for power consumption management in buildings with photovoltaic plants. Subsequently, the thesis contains a description of the chosen management method. In the next part, the final algorithm of the control system is put together, which was preceded by operational testing and optimization. Finally, the thesis presents an evaluation of the energy and economic efficiency of the system.
